How entry to Godolphin & Latymer works

Godolphin & Latymer is part of the London 11+ Consortium. Children sit one shared online assessment in the autumn of Year 6, lasting 100 minutes in total, usually at their own primary school. It covers reasoning, English comprehension, maths and some creative problem solving, and a child sits it only once, however many Consortium schools they apply to. The result goes to every one of them, and each school then holds its own interview.

The assessment starts with an adaptive section, so confident, careful answers matter more than rushing. Children who have practised timed reasoning and comprehension questions go in far more relaxed. There is a full guide to the Consortium for 2027 entry in my advice section.

Godolphin & Latymer also sets its own assessments. Depending on the entry point, these can include written papers, reasoning tests, an interview or a group activity, and they are where the school looks most closely at how a child thinks.
